Susan Anson is Managing Director in Canada for VFA Canada Corporation an Accruent company. Susan served as President of VFA Canada, having grown the Canadian operation from the ground up to become a major part of VFA’s success and served as General Manager of VFA Canada from 2003 until early 2012. She has extensive business enterprise and capital planning experience, currently sits on several provincial capital advisory committees and regularly speaks at industry functions regarding best practice in capital planning solutions.
Prior to joining VFA, Susan was responsible for overseeing the inventory and assessment of healthcare properties in the province of British Columbia on behalf of the Ministry of Health Services. She was also a member of the New Business Transformational team that provided strategic planning for the British Columbia Building Corporation, and has served as Owner’s Agent to several institutions undertaking multi-million dollar capital planning requirements.
Susan holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is the author of “Accurate Data, Consistent Interpretation, Critical for Capital Planning” published in Canadian Property Management. She also recently published articles in Canadian Facility Management & Design titled, “How to Make a Winning Business Case” and “Prioritizing Capital Projects.”
Jen Marshall represents VFA Canada with eight years of experience in business development and client support. Her focus on building client relationships – identifying, understanding and meeting needs – helps her clients to succeed. Currently, she supports VFA’s prestigious corporate and government clients with a concentration on Eastern Canada. Jen attended Algonquin College and Carleton University.
As Project Manager, Tammy plans, monitors and reports on all aspects of client projects including service quality standards. She assists with budgeting, presentations, proposals, and staffing. Tammy engages directly with clients in regular meetings and in an advisory committee role. Tammy holds a BA from the University of Waterloo.
Sazan Bimo is an experienced Senior Project Manager with an extensive background in capital planning, asset management, systems integration, software engineering and training. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in all aspects of managing major projects from VOIP in the cloud phone system to software product enhancement and condition assessment projects. Sazan has extensive experience in managing technology projects, systems development and implementation, and developing and delivering training programs in classroom and on the web. He has proven knowledge of implementing Web-portals and Customer Relation Management systems, servicing technical and user support and is an expert in the functionality of asset management systems like TCPS, asset validation surveys, VFA.facility, Auditor-based surveys and Facility View. Sazan is Project Lead of Condition Assessment Program for educational facilities in Ontario with a portfolio of 5,000 education facilities and total area of 250 Million square Feet.
Sorin has over 13 years of electrical engineering experience including large-scale project management, design, document preparation, and construction administration, and is well versed in code issues, construction implementation, and estimating. Sorin is responsible for all aspects of facility condition assessments as well as subsequent analyses, project coordination, and complete project budget control as well as software installations and training. Sorin holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Post-Graduate degree in Applied Science from The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, as well as a Certificate of Qualification/IP Standard Endorsement.
Glenn has over 30 years of experience as a mechanical and project engineer dealing with a wide range of mechanical systems. Additionally, Glenn has experience in managing projects for the construction of buildings, and maintenance of all building systems. As a Project Manager, Glenn is responsible for all aspects of facility condition assessments as well as subsequent analyses, project coordination, and complete project budget control as well as software installations and training. Glenn holds a B.E.Sc. of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario, and is a Professional Engineer, Province of Ontario, License # 49258502.
Jason has over eleven years of engineering experience including large-scale project management and construction management. He is well versed in code issues, construction implementation, and estimating. As a Project Manager, Jason is responsible for all aspects of facility condition assessments as well as subsequent analyses, project coordination, and complete project budget control as well as software installations and training. Jason holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, and is a Registered Professional Engineer with APEGBC.
As Associate Project Manager, Na has over four years of experience coordinating facility condition assessment projects dealing with federal government and local municipalities. Na is responsible for coordinating all aspects of a project that includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, and change management. Na graduated from Conestoga College (Ontario) with a degree in Architecture – Project and Facility Management.
Al Kostiuk is an experienced professional engineer with an extensive background in Capital Planning, Asset Management and Software Engineering. Over the course of his 25 year career he has been involved in defining, managing and delivering asset management related projects across North and South America. His experience in capital asset management has been targeted towards the planning and prioritization of physical asset renewal using lifecycle principles. In the last 15 years, he has worked on the design and implementation of software solutions supporting capital asset management. As a Senior Consultant with VFA, Al works closely with clients guiding them through the project discovery phase, developing requirements and specifications for delivering application enhancements, advanced data analysis and systems integration.
