Facilities Assessment Consultants

Our Facilities Consultants are responsible for performing assessment services in a fast-paced, highly efficient environment. Degree in Architecture or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or professional facilities management experience. Engineering candidates will ideally have crossover experience between ME and EE. 5-10 years of facilities management-related experience; strong working knowledge of building systems in one or more architectural, mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines; strong computer, technical and cost-estimating skills; US and international travel required (mostly North America); willingness to work on a contract basis with no benefits.

Lead Generation Specialist

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for developing and qualifying sales prospects, working as part of the lead generation team. In this position, you will build a pipeline of qualified sales leads for the VFA sales team, develop prospecting campaigns, and cold call on targeted accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities: Work with Marketing team to qualify inbound inquiries; qualify leads generated from marketing activities and develop sales leads previously qualified by outside telemarketing, coordinating with marketing and sales (business directors) as appropriate; identify prospect requirements, qualify for further sales engagement; set discovery calls with business directors and coordinate hand off of the relationship to business directors; coordinate response to inbound requests for sales follow up, including requests for software demonstrations; conduct outbound calling campaigns in specific vertical markets; identify appropriate contacts within a targeted focus area; qualify prospects for sales engagement; nurture prospects with target verticals to sales readiness; track and report on effectiveness of Inside Sales.

Qualifications include: At least 5 years prior experience in lead generation or telesales positions; strong comfort with phone sales and/or telemarketing; demonstrated skill in positioning and selling solutions that encompass software and services; ability to sell to multiple roles/functions within a given organization; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong telephone skills; proven ability to develop processes for effective prospecting and tracking program performance; a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit; experience with CRM systems, Salesforce.com preferred.

Marketing Communications Intern

The Marketing Communications Intern is an unpaid but valuable summer internship for majors in communications, journalism, marketing, or English. The intern will provide assistance and support to the Marketing Communications team by performing independently and/or participating as a team member in various areas, including marketing operations and development of marketing programs. This is a busy, fast-paced environment requiring a detail- oriented, self-motivated person, who will receive valuable real-world experience.

Duties and responsibilities include: Development of prospect lists through Web research; database management activities; general implementation and coordination of activities and events. In addition, the Intern may assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as case studies.

Qualification include: Ideal candidate will be going into senior year in the fall, with a major in communications, journalism, marketing, or English; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong computer skills including Microsoft applications (particularly Excel) and Internet-based applications; ability to work in a team environment; strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cross-functionally; strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to work independently; excellent project management skills.

The schedule associated with this position is extremely flexible. We seek an individual willing to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week (more if available) preferably with a degree of consistency (days/times per week) once the initial “schedule” is determined.
