Connections participants may make reservations for guest rooms at the Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston by contacting Sonesta reservations directly at 1.800.SONESTA (766.3782) or 617.806.4200 and asking for Reservations. Participants can also email their reservation requests to the hotel at reservations@sonesta-boston.com. The VFA room block has closed, but the Sonesta may still have availability. Transportation
Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel for social events on Sunday and Monday evenings.
By Taxi: If you are arriving from Boston’s Logan Airport, the Royal Sonesta is a short taxi ride of approximately three miles.
By MBTA: The hotel is easily accessible via public transportation.
Green Line
Take the Green Line MBTA trolley/bus to Lechmere Station. Exit and follow signs to Cambridge Street. Cross to First Street and walk along the CambridgeSide Galleria to Charles Street/Cambridgeside Place. Turn left and the Hotel will be at the end of the block.
Red Line
Take the Red Line to Kendall Square Station. Exit station and cross the street to the MIT Coop. The ‘Wave’ Shuttle Service picks up at this location on a posted schedule (Mon-Sat 9a.m.-7p.m., Sun 12-7p.m.). The shuttle bus will drop you off at the CambridgeSide Galleria, across the street from the Hotel. Walk across Edwin Land Boulevard to the Hotel.
In addition, BostonCoach offers sedan service to Logan International Airport and other destinations throughout the New England Region.
