Conference Schedule

VFA Connections 2008 will be begin with a Welcome Reception on the evening of Sunday, October 5 at 6 PM, and
run for two days, ending at 3 PM on Tuesday, October 7. Post-conference software training sessions will be
held on Wednesday, October 8.

Conference Fees & Registration

- $495 - Registrations received by August 15
- $595 - Registration received after August 15
Discounts are also available for a second registration for a colleague from your organization.

Conference attendees can take advantage of all the amenities of the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, the newest hotel addition to the Boston Harbor area.
A discounted room rate of $249 per night is available to VFA Connections participants for a limited time. Post-Conference Training Courses

Following the conference, one-day software training sessions are available to VFA Connections participants at a
discounted rate. Courses include VFA.facility Introductory / Refresher Training, VFA.facility Advanced Reports and Funding
Training, and VFA.spendManager Administrator Training.

Transportation

Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel for social events on Sunday and Monday evenings. Please indicate the social events you plan to attend when registering.
By Taxi: If you are arriving from Boston's Logan Airport, the Renaissance is a short taxi ride of approximately 3 miles.
By MBTA Silver Line: The hotel is easily accessible via public transportation. Take the MBTA Silver Line shuttle SL1 from Logan Airport to the World Trade Center subway stop. The Renaissance Hotel is adjacent to the Seaport Hotel.
The MBTA Silver Line Waterfront (SL1) provides service from the World Trade Center Station to Logan Airport terminals every 10 minutes during the weekday and every 15 minutes during the weekend.
By Water Shuttle: Water taxis are available from the World Trade Center dock to the Logan Airport marine terminal
where free ground transportation connects to all airport terminals.
Rowes Wharf Water Transport picks up at the MBTA
Dock on the west side of the Seaport World Trade Center by Dunkin Donuts (between the Spirit of Boston and Spirit Elite).
City Water Taxi, located on the east side of the World TRade Center, next to Sovereign Bank, also provides water taxi service.
In addition, BostonCoach offers sedan service to Logan International Airport and other destinations throughout the New England Region.
