What is VFA FacilityView™?

VFA FacilityView is a Web platform for quick access to key information about an organization’s real estate portfolio, for the stakeholders it chooses, delivered securely via a desktop or mobile tablet.

When is it available?

Today.  VFA FacilityView™ was initially released on September 28, 2013.

Where does the data in FacilityView come from?

Data comes from an organization’s VFA.facility® website.

Who has access to FacilityView?

Anyone with a VFA.facility® user account on a VFA-hosted site who has the “FacilityView” Capability assigned to their profile can access VFA FacilityView.

Can my organization use VFA FacilityView if we host VFA.facility®?

No. VFA FacilityView is currently available only to sites that VFA hosts.

What does it cost?

VFA FacilityView is part of a VFA.facility® subscription. There is no additional cost for existing VFA.facility® users or for users added to an area-based VFA.facility® subscription.  If your organization has a named user subscription, contact your VFA business director to discuss your options for adding VFA FacilityView users.

How do we add users?

In the VFA.facility® Security module, your organization’s VFA.facility® administrator can add FacilityView access to an existing or new user account by adding the Capability “FacilityView” to the user profile.

Can someone use VFA FacilityView who does not use VFA.facility®?

Yes!  A user may be assigned access to VFA FacilityView only, giving them up-to-date information and a self-service platform for answering questions about capital assets.

How do I log in?

Go to the unique web address for your organization, which uses the same prefix as your VFA.facility® site.  If your organization’s VFA.facility® URL is  https://company.vfafacility.com, then your VFA FacilityView URL is http://company.vfafacilityview.com. Existing users can log in with the same user name and password that they use to access VFA.facility®.
