VFA Announces Appointments to Federal Sector Business Team
Strengthens Support for Defense, Security and Civilian Agencies
BOSTON, Mass. – April 23, 2008 – VFA, Inc., the leading provider of end-to-end solutions for facilities capital planning and asset management, today announced two new appointments in its Federal sector practice. Brian Lynch has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Strategic Accounts for the Federal sector. Malcolm Maclennan has joined the company as Director of Business for the Federal sector.
For the past ten years, Lynch has worked with VFA federal sector customers including the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, the U.S. Army Medical Command and the National Institutes of Health to help them implement real property asset management solutions. In his new role, he will focus on serving federal customers within the Department of Defense and in national security agencies.
Malcolm Maclennan, who is based in VFA’s northern Virginia office, will serve civilian agency customers. He has more than two decades of sales and management experience, and brings substantial federal sector experience to VFA. Maclennan was formerly an Account Executive at IBM, responsible for selling middleware solutions within the federal market. He has also held previous positions delivering enterprise software solutions at companies including CA and ADP.
