VFA Promotes Two Members of Business Development Team to Senior Management Roles
Leading Provider of Facilities Capital Planning Solutions Grows Presence in Healthcare and Government Market
Boston, MA - March 27, 2006 - VFA®, Inc., the leading provider of software and services for facilities asset management and capital planning, today announced the promotion of two members of its sales team to senior management roles. Chuck Hodian and David Raffin have been named Vice President for Healthcare and Vice President for State/Local Government and Education, respectively. Hodian is responsible for driving business for many types of healthcare institutions, including hospitals and government health organizations, and Raffin is responsible for overseeing business involving state and local government and education facilities nationwide.
VFA was very successful in the healthcare, government, and education markets over the past year, adding more than 25 new customers, said Jerry Kokos, President and CEO of VFA. Chuck and David were integral to that success and I look forward to their future contributions.
Hodian has more than 20 years of sales and senior management experience in software and business solutions, and has been a speaker at major information technology industry events. At VFA, he has worked with healthcare customers, such as Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and New York Presbyterian to deliver capital planning and management solutions that optimize capital investments. Prior to joining VFA, Hodian held positions including Vice President of Sales for bx.com, a leading Web development company, Vice President for Judge Information Management Solutions, and Executive Vice President and COO for Mini-Graphic Systems, a San Diego systems integrator.
Raffin has broad expertise in facility condition assessment practices, capital planning processes, and related software solutions for government institutions. He has assisted organizations including the States of Louisiana, Missouri and Virginia along with cities and counties such as New York City and the County of Milwaukee in implementing capital planning and management solutions. Prior to joining VFA, Raffin served for over 15 years as Director of Service Operations for Toshiba Business Solutions, following 5 years with IBM's Customer Service Division as a Senior Field Engineer.
