VFA Enhances Management Team with Latest Hires

Seasoned Project Director and Corporate Controller Join VFA to Support Continued Growth

Peter Scanlon has joined the company as Project Director for assessment services specializing in the education and state government markets. Derek De Stefano is Corporate Controller, reporting to the Vice President of Finance.

Peter Scanlon is responsible for overseeing the delivery of facility assessments and related consulting services for clients. He is a licensed construction supervisor and real estate sales agent with extensive experience in recruiting, training and management in the construction and design industries. Prior to joining VFA, Scanlon was principal at Dingle Executive Group, LLC, where he focused on real estate consulting for investment, real estate and construction firms in Boston. Scanlon was also CEO and co-founder of Beyond Intuition, Inc., a company specializing in human capital software solutions.

As Corporate Controller, Derek De Stefano is responsible for the accounting functions of the company. De Stefano brings fifteen years of senior financial management experience to his role. Prior to joining VFA, he served as corporate controller for companies including Experion Systems, Zolera Systems, and Document Forum. De Stefano also held senior management positions with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Philips Consumer Communications.
