Susan Anson, General Manager of VFA Canada, Inc. will host a session focused on the challenges and opportunities healthcare providers in Canada face in developing and managing long-term capital plans for their facilities. Attendees will learn how other Canadian healthcare organizations have benefited from utilizing professional facilities assessment services and facilities management software to optimally manage renewal and maintenance spending, gain a real-time view of their facilities portfolios, and create multi-year capital plans.
The session will walk attendees through the steps of developing and implementing a capital planning and management strategy that considers the value of the complete building portfolio and supports long-range budgeting. The presentation will feature a case study highlighting the province-wide approach employed by the British Columbia Ministry of Health Services, and provide an overview of its technology-supported capital planning and management solution.
VFA customers include numerous hospitals and healthcare providers in Canada, including the British Columbia Ministry of Health, The Healthcare Corporation of St. John’s Newfoundland, The Ottawa General Hospital, Kingston General Hospital and the London Health Science Center.
