VFA Appoints Frank Salamone as Senior Consultant
Facilities Management Technology Leader Taps Seasoned Financial Planner to Continue Expansion into Corporate Sector
Boston, MA June 8, 2005 VFA, Inc., the leading provider of software and services for facilities management and capital planning, today announced the addition of Frank Salamone as Senior Consultant in the Company’s Consulting Services group. In this role, Salamone will help expand the financial planning consulting services VFA provides to its higher education, government and corporate clients.

Frank’s proven leadership in financial planning and analysis, with some of the world’s most prestigious academic and corporate organizations, will help us provide customers with sound analytic methods and techniques in planning their facilities and infrastructure.”
Since 1998, VFA has performed hands-on assessments of more than 16,000 properties worldwide and the Company’s flagship software, VFA.facility®, is currently used to manage over one billion square feet of real estate. Over 260 organizations across North America have implemented VFA’s solutions, including the largest federal government property managers, Fortune 500 companies, healthcare providers, colleges and universities, and state and local governments.
Prior to VFA, Salamone was Director of Financial Planning and Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was responsible for a portfolio that included Housing, Dining, Athletics, Student Activities and Program, and Student Services. He has held senior positions in finance at Kewill E Commerce, Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions, Fidelity Investments, and Thomson Financial Services. Salamone has also been a consultant to several organizations in the public and private sectors.

Salamone received his MBA from Bentley College and his BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. He has completed leadership development programs at the Center for Creative Leadership and at MIT.
