VFA OPENS CANADIAN HEADQUARTERS TO ADVANCE INTERNATIONAL MARKET PRESENCE

Susan Anson Appointed General Manager, Canada; Brings More than 18 Years Expertise in Canadian Capital Planning Market

Boston, MA – October 14, 2003 – VFA, Inc. today announced the appointment of Susan Anson to General Manager, Canada. In this role, she will head the Company’s new Canadian operations, with an initial office in British Columbia. Anson’s appointment is in direct response to increased market demand for VFA’s capital asset planning and management software and services. VFA has built a strong presence in Canada with a growing local customer base that includes the Ontario College and University System, British Columbia Ministry of Health Services, and the City of Richmond, B.C. The establishment of VFA’s first international office is a testament to the Company’s commitment to serving the Canadian facility management and capital planning industry.

Anson brings more than 18 years of business enterprise and capital planning experience in the Canadian market to VFA. Throughout her career, she has also spearheaded the development of capital planning and reinvestment strategies that assist organizations in effectively managing facility portfolios.

Previously, Anson was a partner of a general contracting firm specializing in commercial and institutional construction. She also worked as a member of the New Business Transformational team that provided strategic planning for British Columbia Building Corporation and has served as an Owner’s Agent to several institutions responsible for multi-million dollar capital planning requirements.
