Boston, MA - January 28, 2002 - Boston-based VFA (www.vfa.com) and Baltimore-based EMG (www.emgcorp.com), two national leaders in real estate information services, today announced a formal business alliance. VFA delivers Web-based facility and capital asset management solutions and software to clients in multiple industries, including education, government, healthcare, and corporate. EMG provides real estate decision-support consulting and property assessment services to commercial real estate investors, lenders, and government entities throughout North America.

The alliance, which takes effect immediately, enables EMG and VFA to collaborate on new business opportunities, enhance service offerings in their core markets, as well as penetrate new markets.
