President & CEO | Jerry Kokos

Jerry Kokos has more than 25 years of general management and strategic technology experience. He has special expertise and a proven track record with both emerging and established software and services companies.
Jerry’s previous senior management positions include the following:

  • Executive Vice President of the Investors Services Group at First Data Corporation – general management for a $200 million transfer agency services and software business; strategic management of the company’s information technology.
  • Corporate Vice President/General Manager at New England Business Systems-general management responsibility for a $70 million division that provided software and computer forms to small businesses.
  • Vice President/General Manager of Alternate Channels Business Unit at ComputerVision Corporation – directed the worldwide channels strategy for the company’s software products, and general management responsibility for an independent, worldwide personal CAD/CAM software business.

Jerry graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and received his master’s in business administration from Yale University. Prior to his business career, Jerry served in the U.S. Coast Guard for nine years, achieving the rank of lieutenant commander. He was a senior Lecturer in Financial Management at Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Business. Jerry is also a member of the board of directors of Tangoe, Inc.

Senior Vice President of Consulting and Software Services | Tim Dunn
Tim Dunn
As Senior Vice President of Consulting and Software Services, Tim oversees development and delivery of value-added services and custom software development projects that support VFA clients in creating and implementing effective capital management strategies. He earlier served as General Manager of Software Services at VFA.
Prior to joining VFA, as Director of US Professional Services at Agile Software (now Oracle), Tim had responsibility for delivering complex Product Lifecycle Management solutions to multi-national, Fortune 100 companies in the defense, automotive, consumer, and manufacturing industries. During his tenure, he increased the US Professional Services revenue by more than 600%, while reducing the cost of implementations. He also developed a training and qualification program for consultants and partners, ensuring quality implementations and increased customer satisfaction.
While a member of the Executive Management Team at AVS, Tim led a multinational Professional Services Group and the US Customer Support organization. He was responsible for business development, contract pricing and negotiation. Tim streamlined the project delivery process, resulting in significant increases in revenue and net income.
Tim earned both an MBA and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Senior Vice President, Professional Services, Federal, Healthcare and Corporate | Lee Kaufman

As Senior Vice President of VFA’s Professional Services Group for the federal, healthcare, and corporate markets, Lee brings nearly 20 years of experience in design, construction management, planning and facility management practices. Lee is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the company’s property audit services, data analyses, project planning and other asset management related services in the federal, healthcare and corporate markets. Earlier, Lee spent 10 years as a VFA Project Director managing facility engineers on facility condition assessment projects for some of the largest federal organizations including the GSA, Navy BUMED and the U.S. Army Medical Command. In this role, Lee oversaw the data collection and VFA.facility implementations used by his clients to manage over 1 billion SF of facilities. Lee has acquired expertise in all aspects of facilities operations, maintenance, and standards, as well as with software and systems management and integration. Previously, Lee worked as a PC support consultant where he was charged with software/hardware support as well as network, computer and software installations. He also worked as an assistant development engineer and a software data evaluator for a major New Jersey engineering firm.
Senior Vice President, Professional Services, State & Local Government, Education and International | Michael Kwok

Mike oversees the strategic direction and delivery of VFA’s integrated professional and consulting services and software solutions in the US state and local government, education and international markets. As a results-oriented professional working collaboratively with clients, Mike is recognized for developing effective capital planning strategies with some of the world’s largest organizations. He has a background in global strategic consulting and organizational design, construction and plant operations and has held a number of key leadership positions at VFA. Prior to joining VFA, Mike was involved with large scale facilities and construction programs with DuPont and General Motors. He is a frequent guest speaker and author of numerous articles in trade publications. Mike operates out of the Boston, Vancouver and London offices.
Senior Vice President of Sales | Rick Mongeau

Rick Mongeau brings proven success as a sales leader to his role as the Senior Vice President of Sales at VFA. He has expertise in growing young businesses, acquisitions and integrations, organic expansion, profit growth, process improvements and innovation. Rick has demonstrated success at hiring and retaining top sales talent.
Prior to joining VFA, Rick was the Vice President, North American Sales at SumTotal Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for growing revenue from $10M to $130M through a market segmented sales team. He also helped transition them to a SaaS-based company. Rick established a go-to-market plan, built a quality sales team, and created the foundation of a strong, initial customer base as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Xevo Corporation. As Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services at Webspective Software, he initiated and deployed the re-direction of the company’s value proposition, leading to a positive change in the target market.
Mongeau also served in various capacities at Axent Technologies, Uniface Corporation, Ingres Corporation, Cortex Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Merrimack College, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Senior Vice President of Product Development | Bill Olsen

As Senior Vice President of Product Development, Bill Olsen brings more than 20 years of product development and technical leadership experience in developing commercial software products. At VFA, Bill will oversee the creation, testing and implementation of new software to give clients better ways to maximize the value of their capital investments.
Prior to joining VFA, Bill was the director of engineering at RSA, where he was responsible for development of the enVision product, as well as for architecture and engineering staff management. Bill was also VP of Engineering at Centerstone Software, leader in the Computer-Aided Facility Management sector, and Director/Chief Architect and original team member for the Digital business at Iron Mountain, where Bill (patent-inventor) and his team were responsible for the design and creation of the high-growth SaaS Digital Archive, EVAA.Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering technology from Northeastern University.
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer | Ameeta Soni

Ameeta leads strategic planning and corporate, industry and product marketing at VFA. In addition, she is responsible for the company’s sustainability solutions business. She has more than 20 years of marketing and business development experience, and has been instrumental in the success of many new technology ventures. Prior to VFA, she was founder and CEO of Aanza AutoID Group, an RFID services firm and Aanza, a provider of product lifecycle management software and services.
Previously, in her roles as VP of Product Marketing and VP of Marketing at ChannelWave Software, Ameeta helped grow annual revenues from $400K to $10M in two years and attract $30M in venture capital. Earlier in her career, she was founder and President of Altek Consulting, a management consulting firm. She has held senior marketing positions at Computer Identics, The BOC Group, Genus and Varian Associates.
Earlier, Ameeta served on the board of directors of PlumChoice, Inc. and the board of overseers at the Museum of Science, Boston. She chaired the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge and is currently a member of its Startup committee. Ameeta is a charter member of TiE-Boston and serves on the Advisory Council for the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is a frequent speaker/panelist and has been published in several business and trade publications.
Ameeta earned her MBA from the University of Chicago, MS from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and BS (Honors) from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, India.
Chief Financial Officer | Jim Summers
Jim Summers
Jim has 20 years of top management and financial experience within the facilities industry and is responsible for all financial, administrative and human resource issues within VFA.
Over the past 20 years, Jim has created and implemented various new ventures that include developing original business models to structuring strategic plans, realigning business processes to improving performance and managing operations to improving efficiencies and economies.
Before joining VFA in 1998, Jim was the Treasurer and Partner in the Architectural firm of Ondras Associates Inc., where his primary focus was on financial planning, operational oversight and business development.
Jim has a degree from The Boston Architectural Center as well as a BS in Finance from Babson College.
General Manager Canada | Susan Anson
Susan Anson
Susan Anson has served as General Manager of VFA Canada since 2003. She has over 20 years of business enterprise and capital planning experience.
Prior to joining VFA, Susan was responsible for overseeing the inventory and assessment of healthcare properties in the province of British Columbia on behalf of the Ministry of Health Services. She was also a member of the New Business Transformational team that provided strategic planning for British Columbia Building Corporation, and has served as Owner’s Agent to several institutions undertaking multi-million dollar capital planning requirements.
Susan holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. She is the author of “Accurate Data, Consistent Interpretation, Critical for Capital Planning” published in Canadian Property Management.
