Ken has over 27 years of facilities experience in a national laboratory physical plant environment. At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Ken manages their Facilities Division Operation’s Department which includes Plant Maintenance and Repairs, Site Utilities, Transportation and logistics, and Site Services. With technology, process change and stakeholder buy-in, Ken and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory have taken facilities capital planning and management to the next level, delivering strategic value in line with the Lab’s mission and goals.

In June 2013 Ken was awarded the Platinum award of Excellence in Facility Management. He was recognized for Berkeley Lab‘s Facilities Division’s ability to develop an effective and efficient way to critically evaluate facility sustainability and identify cost-effective measures to support their ability to meet government sustainability mandate requirements. New Office Space is Located in the Heart of Boston’s Vibrant Downtown Business Community

BOSTON—January 7, 2014—VFA, Inc., the leading provider of end-to-end solutions for facilities capital planning and asset management, today announced the move of the company’s U.S. headquarters to a new office space in downtown Boston.

VFA’s new office space is located at 99 Bedford Street. Also known as the Bedford Building, 99 Bedford Street is a five-story, 83,741-square-foot historic commercial building built in 1875 in a style known as Venetian Gothic. Listed on the National Historic Register, the building features a glazed tile clock in a five-story tower at the corner of Bedford and Summer Streets. Other elements include high ceilings, exposed brick and beam, and modern finishes.
