VFA.auditor Mobile ™ uses Native Look and Feel of Industry-leading Tablets for Faster Adoption, Easier Navigation
BOSTON—September 11, 2012—VFA, Inc., the leading provider of end-to-end solutions for facilities capital planning and asset management, today announced the release of version 4.0 of its facility self-assessment solution, VFA.auditor Mobile. The latest release features a new user interface and enhanced functionality that enables tablet users to capture facility details more efficiently and intuitively.
VFA.auditor is the trusted software for facility and building managers to keep facility condition data up-to-date, identify hotspot problem areas or capture information across the portfolio using surveys. It’s a standalone solution for organizations that conduct assessments with their own staff or a complementary solution for organizations that also use third parties for assessments.
VFA.auditor Mobile puts a built-in facility assessment process and content expertise at the fingertips of facility managers and capital planners using tablets, including the Apple iPad. The latest release introduces a completely revamped tablet-style user interface designed to enhance the data collection experience. It also lets users view and update existing requirement data, improving the accuracy of the Facility Condition Index (FCI) benchmark and maintaining an effective foundation for capital planning.
“The new UI is user-friendly, straightforward and a real improvement from the older mobile version of VFA.auditor,” said Charles Grimm, building inspector at James Madison University. “In addition, the ability to access existing requirement information will be very helpful and should contribute to additional office work efficiency.”
VFA.auditor offers facility and building managers an efficient and cost-effective way to get reliable facility condition data and prioritize identified issues. It provides users with surveys to assess and rapidly collect data about the condition of facilities and major building systems. Integration with VFA’s facilities capital planning software, VFA.facility, lets organizations take advantage of robust prioritization, business intelligence and what-if scenario planning required for a defensible capital plan.
